Partnership Enables Digital Accounts Payable Processes

Greenwood Village, CO – May 24, 2016 – Digitech Systems and Epson have partnered to showcase Accounts Payable (AP) Automation technologies at the APP2P Conference and Expo. The Conference is taking place May 23-25, 2016 at Walt Disney World Resort, FL, where Digitech Systems is a Gold Sponsor.

Despite efforts to implement e-invoicing, many businesses are still struggling to simplify and streamline AP processes. The Institute for Finance and Management (IOFM) estimates that more than 70% of invoices in the United States are still paper-based.1 When invoice information is trapped in paper form, businesses struggle with executing processes efficiently, protecting financial data from prying eyes, and reducing the cost of doing business.

Through a technology partnership, Epson scanners can be combined with PaperVision® Capture, from Digitech Systems, to simplify the process of converting paper invoices into electronic files that can be processed using the same controls as natively electronic invoices. PaperVision® Forms Magic™, an artificial intelligence (AI) driven component of PaperVision Capture, can sort the scanned invoices into categories and then extract business information such as invoice number, vendor, date, line items and invoice total to send to an accounting application like Microsoft® Dynamics GP, SAP®, or Oracle®. Electronic invoices can then be routed through approvals and payment processes more quickly and cost-effectively while simultaneously reducing accounting errors.

Visit Digitech Systems and Epson at the APP2P Conference Booth #403 to see a demonstration of the five simple steps to AP Automation, and don’t miss our speaker session Bring Intelligence to AP Automation on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, @ 11:30 am.
