When we first launched PaperFlowTM in the nineties, many resellers took advantage of PaperVision ER, a document viewing application you could install on the same CD/DVDs you created when scanning a customer’s files. Although this proved popular for service bureaus, the PaperVision ER viewer is now considered legacy software and does not work for Windows 10.

Converting PaperVision ER

Lately, we have received many requests from clients to upgrade PaperVision ER, so they can view files. If you’ve got customers interested in upgrading, we have good news for you! The data on their CDs is in the same data group format that PaperVision® Enterprise and ImageSilo® use today. All your customer needs to do is:

  1. purchase a license of PaperVision Enterprise,
  2. copy all of the data groups onto their PC/server,
  3. import the data groups into PaperVision Enterprise.
It Never Hurts to Ask…

Most of the customers we have spoken to are open to this conversion. Reach out to some of your older customers who you may have done simple scanning work for and see if this is something that might interest them. The answer is always “no” if you don’t bother to ask!
