How will you take advantage of the hottest tech buying trends to grow your business this year? Do you know what businesses are buying right now? Do you know how the Digitech Systems product line creates opportunities for you to meet those needs?

We discussed all of this content and more during our annual reseller event, Digitech Systems University (DSU), the first week of March in Denver, CO.

Fresh Perspectives

From security and communication principles, taught by guest speakers Ray Ciarvella and Elizabeth Edwards, to our marketplace overview and roadmap for product development, DSU offered fresh perspectives on critical business topics.

Most business technology buyers in 2020 are focused on cloud, artificial intelligence, automation, and information security, and your Digitech Systems products allow you to meet these needs. In fact, the product roadmap provided by Scott Matthews during the event indicates that not only will your product offering meet these needs today, but also that we’re innovating in ways that will drive the direction of technology for years to come.

Ray Ciarvella’s presentation was packed with important strategies we should each take to protect our systems and information while online. (Don’t know about you, but I made some changes as he was talking!) A perennial favorite, Elizabeth Edwards didn’t disappoint. Her communications insights included encouraging us to tell stories since they are easier to remember, to “speak easy” with shorter words and sentences and less jargon, and finally to remember to explain the “because” when we’re trying to convince others.

Focused Insights

For the first time in many years, we offered focused technical training on the two days just prior to the start of DSU, and it was a huge success! About 2/3 of our attendees came early to spend some hands-on time with our technical team learning more about new product features and how to leverage better product knowledge into new sales.

We also took a deep dive into a new opportunity from Digitech Systems. PaperVision®.com makes all of the functionality of PaperVision® Enterprise available in the cloud at a per-user, feature-based price for the very first time. It’ll expand your market and allow you to close sales you would have had to miss out on in the past. Contact your salesperson to get all the details, and grab the PaperVision.com dealer sheet online.

Plenty of Fun

Networking is one of our favorite parts of the DSU experience, and we truly enjoyed catching up with so many of you who attended! A special shout out to our sponsors. Thanks to our title sponsor, Epson America, DSU attendees enjoyed a night at the hockey game, watching the Colorado Avalanche take on the Anaheim Ducks. What an exciting overtime ending!

Silver sponsor, Panasonic, provided attendees with a chance to see a bit of the urban side of downtown Denver, and beautiful spring sunshine accompanied our walking tour of RiNo.

Don’t know about you, but we took advantage of the great Cranel messenger-style bags to haul home some of our DSU loot and literature. Thanks for being a bronze sponsor and taking good care of us!
